What a bad idea that was.  The old colors, the sink looking out the broken window.  Hard to describe how bad the floor looked.  Various plumbing leaks caused soft spots and some rot.  We re-piped, added new historically accurate tile, and put in a new bath.  Added an exhaust fan and new lites.  The color scheme was created to give height to the room, to distract from the narrow width.  A chest of drawers was ultimately added to give some impromptu counter space for life’s necessities.  This bathroom was off the living room and never intended for overnite guests, so not much counter space was permissible.
