A large change to this kitchen involved the food prep area.  A gloomy and hard to keep clean range and backsplash were replaced and moved across the room.  Counter space is shared next to the sink to help with prep, spices and accoutrement are kept close at hand.  A visual dance is created with the reed glass cabinet doors and the tile behind the range.  This range definitely catches the eye and sets the mood for the room, elegant and practical
