This deck was constructed for the purposes of wedding photographs.  This old church can be found in West Linn and traces it’s roots in this building over 100 years back.  Available for weddings to congregation and public alike, the grounds are large enough to host a large outside receptio.  The deck was engineered by Hayden Consulting Engineers, http://www.hayden-engineers.com/ and built as a co-venture with Eight Inch Nails Construction, http://www.eightinchnails.com/ .  As commercial code dictates, the deck is made for 100 lbs per sq ft of load.  Lots of people.  The exterior surfaces are IPE, with plugged screws.  On the deck, a decorative pattern of White Ash plugs was added.  Access to the service entrance is on the left and is, appropriately for a church, guarded by a Cross.
