Does your contractor recycle the hard stuff?  This styrofoam took 3 months to salvage from trash loads.  appliance packaging, tile boxes, household food packs.  I save it at my house and take it to a recycle center when the pile is large enough.  Ask the questions, but you may not like the answer.
